1241. The Mongol horde led by Khan Burunda moves west and destroys everything in its path. The horde reached the high Carpathian mountains and stopped at the foot. However, at night several local hunters, the Berkut brothers, make their way to the camp behind their back and release the captives. The enraged khan decides to go straight to avenge and destroy the Carpathian settlements. He finds a traitor among the locals, who opens him a secret passage through the mountains.
