The main character — Arsen, a weightlifting coach in a provincial Palace of Culture and Sports. Due to a silly misunderstanding, Arsen is blamed for the injury of the dance coach. To save the dance section and preserve the chance for his protégé Sasha to qualify for the Olympics, Arsen agrees to a strict «punishment» — becoming the leader of the pop dance group. But for Sasha, sports take a backseat: he falls in love with Milana, the leader of the dance section. Sasha is a boy from a humble family, while Milana is the mayor's daughter. Their relationship blossoms at the intersection of athletic ambitions, social barriers, and a shared dance that transforms them both. Will dancing hinder weightlifting or, on the contrary, help it? A showdown begins: iron versus grace, discipline versus freedom. At the heart of the story is the duality of two worlds: men and women, youth and adulthood, strength and sensitivity.
