The action of the film takes place in an apartment in a small town near Kyiv, where a pair of 30-year-old lovers, Taras and Olya, live. They spend their first night in their new apartment, but at dawn they are awakened by explosions. They fail to leave the city in time, and meanwhile Russian troops set up headquarters in the yard of their house. The couple finds themselves trapped in the apartment without electricity, water, or mobile communication. Over the next five days, Taras and Olya will explore the dark abyss of true intimacy between two people in a situation of mortal threat.
